Sculptra®

Sculptra® is an FDA-approved biostimulatory injectable treatment that works by stimulating your body’s natural collagen production. Unlike traditional fillers that provide immediate volume, Sculptra gradually restores facial volume and improves skin structure over time for natural-looking, long-lasting results.

Sculptra is made of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible substance that helps rebuild collagen beneath the skin. As collagen production increases, the skin becomes firmer, smoother, and more youthful in appearance.

Treatment Guideline

A common guideline for Sculptra treatment is one vial per decade of life, although the number of vials recommended will be customized based on your facial anatomy, degree of volume loss, and aesthetic goals.

Aftercare & Recovery

After your treatment, mild swelling, tenderness, bruising, redness, and small lumps at the injection sites are common and typically resolve within a few days to two weeks.

Avoid strenuous exercise, excessive heat (saunas, hot tubs, steam rooms), and alcohol for at least 24 hours following treatment unless otherwise instructed.

To help ensure even product distribution, follow the 5-5-5 Rule:

  • Massage the treated areas for5 minutes
  • 5 times per day
  • For5 consecutive days

Your provider will demonstrate the proper massage technique after your treatment.

Because Sculptra works by stimulating your body’s natural collagen production, results develop gradually over time. Most clients begin to notice improvement within 6–12 weeks, with continued enhancement as collagen rebuilds.
